AIM

To promote GeoMoby to key media, industry and government stakeholders. Public relations work aims to improve knowledge of GeoMoby technology and perception of the company.

HOW

We craft and distribute monthly media campaigns for Perth-based geolocation intelligence company, GeoMoby. Its technology vastly improves underground safety and mining productivity. GeoMoby is regarded as the best in the world and the company has recently announced it will work alongside Cisco, and Perth Media has been hired to tell its story to media, industry, and government.

Nativ Carbon

AIM

Increase awareness and create positive perceptions of a new Western Australian company, Nativ Carbon, working in the restoration economy and planting Australia’s largest ever biodiverse planting projects near Perth. Brief stakeholders – including media, community, government and industry – on scale of activity and the vast range of species (2.7 million plants, featuring more than 30 species in 2023) used in the operation. The work was done to generate Australian Carbon Credit Units and featured indigenous plant crews. Highlighted both directors as thought leaders in the environmental sector.

HOW

We conducted several media campaigns and strategic briefings with key stakeholders, focusing on Australian media and local stakeholders active in the region of the planting operations.

RESULTS

Many results in local and national media publicizing ground-breaking environmental plantings with stories highlighting indigenous engagement. News featuring both Nativ Carbon directors achieved. Media monitoring reports and statistics of reach collated.

Rockcliffe Winery

AIM

Increase awareness of the Rockcliffe brand, create positive perceptions and generate publicity for Western Australian winery, Rockcliffe, focusing on Perth and regional Western Australian public. The work highlighted the quality of luxury brand Nautica – which retails for $120 per bottle – and showcased the renewable energy and world-class winery facilities as well as the popular cellar door, both based in Denmark, Western Australia.

HOW

We distributed media releases in targeted campaigns, focusing on the wine quality and renewable energy and sustainable operation alongside luxury events and presentations to media and large wine buyers. These were held an exclusive Perth restaurant and featured a presentation by owner Steve Hall.

RESULTS

Huge amounts of publicity generated, more than $1.9m in ASR (Advertising Sales Revenue) in 2022 and 2023. Rockcliffe customers increased both retail and wholesale, and the improved positive perception of the brand generated long-term loyalty. Range of new connections in media, influencers, wholesale wine buyers and new customers were generated. Media monitoring reports and statistics of reach collated.

Australia-Korea Business Council

AIM

To increase positive perception and awareness of Australia-Korea Business Council and its work to change policy settings and improve trade and long-term mutually-beneficial ties between Australia and Korea. Focus promotion to Australia-wide media on strategic events such as the Joint Meeting of AKBC and Korea-Australia Business Council in Sydney in 2022 and meeting of Korean president and key AKBC members in mineral supply chains and industry in 2021. Use the positive publicity to encourage new members to join AKBC.

HOW

Conduct various high-level media campaigns, including press conferences, targeting Australia’s top business media, around key events in Australia-Korea business calendar. Included: developing key messaging in media releases; leveraging high-level sector reports; and setting up one-on-one interviews with some of the world’s largest industrial companies and prestigious media such as Australian Financial Review, ABCTV The Business and The West Australian. Multiple media campaign support from 2020-2023.

RESULTS

More than ASR of $1 million was achieved in various media campaigns (in radio, TV and print media) as Perth Media was able to leverage AKBC’s extraordinary access to high-level business leaders both in Australia and Korea and enable media to liaise with some of the world’s most highly regarded thought leaders, especially in the areas of steel making, hydrogen, rare earths and energy.
